The Cross-Way Renewal Conference (CWRC): A Symposium for the Nepali Church
The Cross-Way Renewal Conference (CWRC) is more than a gathering; it is a sacred assembly designed to seek the heart of God for our nation. As the Nepali church stands at a critical juncture in history, CWRC serves as a theological and missional symposium where pastors and church leaders come together to listen, learn, and lead.
Our mission is built upon four primary pillars:
1. Engaging Missionary Movements
We aim to engage pastors and church leaders in a deep, scholarly, and spiritual understanding of God’s missionary movements in Nepal. By looking back at how the Spirit has moved in our land and looking forward to the current harvest, we seek to align our local ministries with the global missio Dei.
2. Laying Missional Foundations
A healthy church requires a robust framework. CWRC is dedicated to encouraging and inspiring leaders to lay solid missionary foundations within their local congregations. We provide the theological and moral frameworks necessary to transition from a maintenance mindset to a multiplication mindset, rooted in Reformed and biblical convictions.
3. Stirring a Movement of Renewal
Our heart’s desire is to set in motion a movement for the renewal of the Nepali church. We believe that renewal begins with the leadership—through repentance, the preaching of the Word, and a return to the simple power of the Gospel. We seek a revival that is not merely emotional but structural and spiritual, impacting every district of Nepal.
4. Attentive to the Holy Spirit
As a symposium, CWRC prioritizes listening over speaking. We create a space to be attentive to what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Nepali church today. Through prayerful reflection and collective discernment, we seek to hear the “still, small voice” that directs the future of our movement, ensuring our strategies are birthed in heaven before they are implemented on earth.
Join us as we draw from the “Well of Grace” to plant, nourish, and renew Christ-centered churches for the glory of God in Nepal.
